KUALA LUMPUR: National para-shuttler Cheah Liek Hou kicked off his Paralympic gold medal defence by winning the men's singles SU5 Group A opener in Paris today.
The 36-year-old swatted aside Poland's Bartlomiej Mroz 21-10, 21-6 at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena.Liek Hou will take on Meril Loquette of France in his second Group A match on Saturday.
