KUALA LUMPUR: Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah were in smashing form as they crushed world No. 3 Liu Sheng Shu-Tan Ning to win the Hong Kong Open women's doubles title today.
The world No. 8 Malaysians defeated the Chinese pair 21-14, 21-14 in an one-sided battle, which lasted 37 minutes.
It marks their first World Tour crown since the 2022 French Open.
Pearly-Thinaah now have three World Tour titles, adding to their victory at the 2021 Swiss Open.
