KUALA LUMPUR: Women's badminton pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah were shown the exit in the second round of the China Open today.
The Malaysian world No. 8 lost 21-16, 21-18 to China's world No. 18 Li Yi JIng-Luo Xu Min in 40 minutes in Changzhou.
The defeat ended a fine run by Pearly-Thinaah who had won the recent Hong Kong Open and finished runners-up at the Korea Open.
