Para track cyclist Adi Raimie Amizazahan finished fifth in a time of 3:47.922s in the men's C3 3,000m Individual Pursuit qualifying round at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines National Velodrome.
Britain's Jaco van Gass was in a class of his own as he clocked a new world record of 3:15.488s to enter the final with compatriot Finlay Graham who was second fastest with 3:17.305
The bronze medal race will see Spain's Eduardo Santas Asensio, who was third fastest with 3:25.874, taking on fourth-placed Canadian Alexandre Hayward (3:26.940)
Para archer Nur Jannaton Abdul Jalil's campaign ended after going down 138-124 to India's Sarita Devi at the Esplanade des Invalides.
Para shuttler Amin Burhanuddin bounced back to beat Siripong Teamarrom of Thailand 21-14, 22-20 in his second Group B match in the men's singles SL4 event at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena.
However, his chance of advancing to the semi-finals will depend on Siripong's next match against India's Sukant Kadam tomorrow.
Earlier, national para swimmer Nur Syaiful Zulkafli seemed to have found his rhythm after advancing to the final of the S5 men's 100m freestyle event at the Paris La Defense Arena.
Nur Syaiful finished fourth in the second heat with a time of 1:16.82 seconds behind Oleksandr Komarov of Ukraine (1:11.26s).
The Sarawakian placed sixth overall from two heats and was in the group of eight best swimmers for the final.
