KUALA LUMPUR: KL City FC have found themselves in a tough group after the Asean Clubs Championship football draw was made in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday.
The City Boys are in Group B alongside formidable Buriram United (2023-2024 Thai Premier League winners), Cong An Ha Noi FC (2023 Vietnam League 1 winners), Borneo FC Samarinda (2023 Indonesia's Liga 1 winners), Kaya FC-Iloilo (Philippines League winners), and Lion City Sailors (2023 Singapore Cup winners).
Meanwhile, Terengganu find themselves in Group A alongside Thailand's BG Pathum United, Indonesia's PSM Makassar and Vietnam's Dong A Thanh Hoa.
The Asean Clubs Championship runs from July 17, 2024, to May 21, 2025
