SHAH ALAM: Acid-attack victim Faisal Haim could be discharged today from a private hospital here.
Selangor FC board member Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar said Faisal is steadily improving, despite restricted mobility due to skin grafts from his thigh. Faisal, who has undergone four skin graft procedures, is currently limited to light exercises on his hospital bed.
"Faisal is making a steady recovery. He must limit his movements due to the surgeries.
"Recovering from acid burns is a slow process, but Faisal is showing encouraging progress," said Shahril.
It is understood that Faisal, also known as Mickey, might be discharged today (Saturday).
"The doctor will decide when Faisal should be discharged," added Shahril.
Faisal was attacked at a shopping mall in Petaling Jaya on May 5, suffering acid burns to several parts of his body, including his face.
