KUALA LUMPUR: The FA of Malaysia (FAM) denied that Harimau Malaya will face Russia in a friendly in October.
Its secretary-general, Datuk Noor Azman Rahman, said they had not sent an invitation to world No. 33 Russia for a friendly.
"As of now, we have not arranged a friendly against the Russian team. Harimau Malaya's focus is on the Merdeka Tournament in September.
"In October, we will have an away friendly against a team here. In November, we might invite Laos, Yemen and Syria for friendly matches," said Azman.
