JDT, who have accumulated 77.8 points, are now ranked 10th in Asia and 287th globally, according to Opta Analyst.
This development places JDT ahead of EFL Championship sides Watford (288th) and Swansea City (291st), as well as Spain's Segunda side Granada (300th).
However, all of this will count for nothing if the Southern Tigers fail to overcome Selangor in the FA Cup final at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil.
