KUALA LUMPUR: The FA of Malaysia (FAM) has challenged the national men's futsal team to get a good result at the Asean Championship in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
The competition, slated for Nov 2-10, sees Malaysia drawn in Group A with hosts Thailand, Vietnam, Timor Leste and Brunei.
FAM vice president Datuk Seri Rosmadi Ismail expressed confidence in the team's ability.
"This is a good opportunity for us to demonstrate our fighting spirit and confidence, especially against formidable opponents like Thailand and Vietnam," said Rosmadi.
Malaysia aim to finish among the top two in Group A and reach the semi-finals.
