KUALA LUMPUR: Leona Chin continued to shine on the international motorsports scene by winning the China Circuit Sprint Challenge (CCSC) at the V1 International Circuit in Tianjin yesterday (Nov 10).
Leona secured pole position and celebrated back-to-back victories.
The 38-year-old Malaysian bagged the BMW M235i Cup overall championship, which was also her first title in the series.
The final round capped a challenging season for Leona that spanned spring, summer and winter rounds.
The contrasting conditions saw Leaona race in summer heat that reached as high as 40° Celsius and in the cold during winter.
"This season truly tested my endurance and focus. I'm incredibly grateful to my team for their support throughout and to the CCSC organisers for an amazing series," said Leona who is used to competing against male drivers internationally.
