KUALA LUMPUR: The coveted Webb Ellis Cup is currently in Malaysia as part of the 2019 Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour.
The Webb Ellis Cup will be here until Thursday for a series of promotional events.
Acting Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Rugby World Cup Trophy Tour dinner here on Saturday.
Sultan Nazrin is also the Royal Patron of Malaysia Rugby (MR).
MR president Datuk Shahrul Zaman Yahya said the cup will be on display at SM Sains Selangor on Sunday.
"It will be displayed at the National Rugby Development Programme (NRDP) carnival at SM Sains Selangor where over 3,000 up-and-coming players will get a chance to see the trophy," said Shahrul.
The World Cup will be held in Japan on Sep 20-Nov 2.
