GOPENG: Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad will brief the Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah on Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB) and their activities in the state next week.
Saarani said he has received a full report from the Perak Islamic Religious Department (JAIPk) and will present it next Monday (Oct 7).
"God willing, I will present the report, which I received from JAIPk, to Sultan Nazrin next Monday.
"Coincidentally, the Sultan of Perak is the Chairman of the National Council for Islamic Religious Affairs of Malaysia and I have been informed that this issue will also be discussed at MKI," he told reporters.
Saarani said this after opening Terra Mineral Lab Sdn Bhd and the Centre of Excellence for Mineral Research here today.
Last week, Saarani said as of Sept 26, a total of 55 children under the age of 12 have been rescued and are currently placed in a care center under the Perak Welfare Department.
