KUALA LUMPUR: Hosts China lead the medal tally with a haul of 11 gold, one silver and one bronze on the opening day of the Hangzhou Asian Games.
China grabbed six gold from rowing, two each from shooting and modern Pentathlon and one from wushu.
Hong Kong are second with one gold, thanks to Lam San Tung-Wong Wai Chun in the men's pair rowing event.
India are third with three silver and two bronze.
Indonesia are currently Southeast Asia's top performers with one silver and three bronze.
