KUALA LUMPUR: National No. 2 Rachel Arnold saw her campaign come to an end in the quarter-finals of the US$50,000 Open Squash Classic in New York yesterday.
The fourth-seeded Rachel was well below her best as she fell to an opponent ranked lower than her.
England's sixth seed, Katie Maliff, pulled off an upset, defeating world No. 30 Rachel 11-9, 11-7, 6-11, 11-8 in 46 minutes.
World No. 38 Maliff will face top seed Farida Mohamed of Egypt in the semi-finals today.
