Dominant JDT still seek perfection

KUALA LUMPUR: Despite a decade of dominance in the M-League, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) are still unsatisfied with their achievements as they seek perfection.

On Saturday, JDT blanked KL City 5-1 at the KLFA Stadium, Cheras, to record their third consecutive win in the Super League.

JDT coach Hector Bidoglio said his team still have much ground to cover.

"At this juncture, we're probably hovering around 50 per cent. There is still ample room for improvement. I'm always pushing for more," said Bidoglio on Saturday.

In front of 5,000-odd fans in Cheras, Fernando Forestieri (42nd and 61st minutes) and Juan Muniz (45+6 and 71st) scored a brace each, while Syahmi Safari completed the rout in the 88th minute.

Captain Paulo Josue scored for KL City in the 11th minute of stoppage time in the first half.

KL City coach Miroslav Kuljanac said his team are facing injury setbacks.

He admitted that he took a risk by fielding an injured Ryan Lambert.
