KUALA LUMPUR: Civil engineering and construction group Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd has bagged RM221.9 million substructure works contract for Bukit Bintang City Centre.
The company said it has received a Letter of Award from BBCC Development Sdn Bhd to undertake substructure works for the mixed development project in Jalan Pudu, here.
The substructure works under Package B2 consist of earthworks, piling, diaphragm wall, reinforced concrete works, transmission main intake and main distribution sub-station works for parcel 4 and 5 of the mixed development of residences, hotels and offices.
The contract is slated for completion in 28 months.
With the new contract, AZRB said its current orderbook stood at RM3.7 billion, expected to sustain the group over the next three to four years.
Strategically situated on a 19.4-acre site within the Golden Triangle, BBCC is a mixed development that encompasses modern residential suites, hotels, retail, an entertainment hub and a transit hub.
BBCC is a joint venture by Eco World Development Group, UDA Holdings Bhd and Employees Provident Fund.
