KUALA LUMPUR: Mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Tune Talk Sdn Bhd has appointed Ameen Abdullah as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective January 15, 2018, replacing Jason Lo.
Lo has served Tune Talk as its CEO since December 2007.
Prior to his appointment as CEO, Ameen was RedOne Network Sdn Bhd CEO and also the head of MVNO and migrant segment at Celcom Axiata Bhd. In both instances, he was the major driving force that has positively changed the outlook of the business.
The company said his presence in Tune Talk, backed by his vast experience, forward-looking, and a track record of great achievements under his belt, will be the catalyst that will direct the company to unprecedented levels.
Tune Talk said Ameen brings a great mix of leadership, inspiration, operational experience, technical breadth, and passion for customer care to the table – all of which will ensure the company stays on the right path in achieving the company’s goal of becoming the ASEAN MVNO.
