KUALA LUMPUR: IOI Corp Bhd has signed a share acquisition agreement with Loders Croklaan Group B.V. to sell its entire equity interest in IOI Lipid Enzymtec Sdn Bhd (IOILE) for RM330.5 million.
“IOILE is involved in similar business as Loders Group, which focusses on manufacturing specialty oils and fats,” it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
IOI Corp said upon the completion of the disposal, Loders would become the holding company of IOILE.
“The company has obtained the approval from Bank Negara Malaysia,” it said. – Bernama
