Public Bank has no bitcoin trading platform

 KUALA LUMPUR: Public Bank Bhd has denied any affiliations with automated bitcoin trading platform purportedly called "PUBLIC COIN".

 "It has come to our attention of a website claiming that Public Bank has launched an automated bitcoin trading platform purportedly called "PUBLIC COIN",” it said in a statement issued today. 

"The website claims that investors can earn tremendous wealth by placing an initial deposit into the platform."

 Public Bank stressed that neither the bank nor its subsidiaries offer such a product.   

“Public Bank is not the owner of "PUBLIC COIN" and is not responsible for the said product.

 “The website and the information about "PUBLIC COIN" do not originate from Public Bank.” 

The bank then asked the public to validate information of its products and services from  its official website at https://www.pbebank.com.

 “Public Bank takes a serious view of any false statements or scams using the Bank’s name, logo or trademark without authority and reserves the right to seek legal recourse against any attempt to mislead the public and / or tarnish the Bank's name and reputation,” it concluded.
