KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Bank Bhd bagged three awards for Best Marketer in Customer Experience Marketing, Data & Tech, and Retail & Promotions Marketing at the recently held Malaysian Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Awards 2018.
“Since 2016, we have executed various initiatives like re-engineering business processes and data analytics to deliver real value to our customers’ experience and journey.
"With great back-end improvements, it is that much easier to deliver CIMB’s brand promise – which is to forward our customers’ ambitions – through marketing and customer engagement,” said CIMB group chief executive Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz.
He said these awards also bear testimony to CIMB’s continued commitment in making customer experience and marketing as part of a holistic process, to ensure that the best value is delivered to customers in every part of their journey with CIMB.
Organised by The Marketing Magazine, a total of 30 awards were allocated to recognise the efforts and contributions of members in Malaysia’s marketing communications industry especially in the field of customer engagement.
Among all financial institutions nominated, CIMB Bank received the most number of awards based on a rigorous criteria comprising of, among others, business results, case study results and other awards received for specific marketing initiatives.
The awards were presented at the seventh annual Malaysian CMO conference,attended by Minister of Communications and Multimedia of Malaysia Gobind Singh Deo.
