KUALA LUMPUR: Affin Bank Bhd aims to grow its debit and credit cardmembers to more than one million by next year.
Group chief executive officer Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Jamil said the bank, which has more than 900,000 debit and credit cardholders, has set a 15 per cent growth target for the segment next year.
He said this will be achieved through various campaigns and initiatives including Affin Cards Usage Campaign in partnership with Enrich.
“These campaigns are among the various initiatives by the bank to strengthen our relationship with customers and to constantly bring added value to customers as part of the bank’s progress to become the preferred bank,” he told reporters after presenting prizes to the “Scootvaganza is Back” campaign winners here.
Kamarul said the last campaign, called Scootvaganza is Back and ran from May 16 to September 2019, has helped Affin Bank grew its cardmembers by 30 per cent year-to-date.
Meanwhile, with Affin Cards Usage Campaign, Kamarul said Affin Bank is rewarding its cardmembers with 2.5 million Enrich Miles.
From November 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020, Affin cardmembers will automatically earn entries by spending with their Affin cards, he added.
New cardmembers who have successfully applied for an Affin Credit Card during the campaign period will also gain entries.
