KUALA LUMPUR: Accenture Interactive recently reappointed Ramesh Rajandran as its new managing director.
In a LinkedIn update, Ramesh, who was previously SEEK Asia's chief marketing officer, told his followers that he had rejoined the company he had left in February 2020.
Accenture Interactive is the digital arm of the professional services firm Accenture, while SEEK Asia is the holding company for JobStreet.
Ramesh became the youngest employee of Microsoft Malaysia Sdn Bhd at the age of 17.
In 2000, the company's then managing director Butt Wai Choon spotted his genius and brought this enterprising young man into what was then the world's most powerful and influential software company.
Over the years, Ramesh's career evolved, and it was only natural for him to head upwards. Telenor headhunted him, and he soon became their vice president of digital and distribution.
He then assumed Apple Malaysia's iOS business lead before his first stint at Accenture Interactive.
Ramesh is reportedly passionate about helping clients pivot from thinking digital to being digital at the core while driving unmatched customers experiences.
The Accenture group has been accelerating its advertising and marketing agency business in recent years through organic growth and merger and acquisitions.
Ramesh's reappointment follows the company's recent acquisition of digital experience agency Entropia, founded in 2016 and based in Kuala Lumpur.
In a recent statement, Accenture said Entropia comprise 210 employees skilled in scaling unique digital experiences for brands.
"The addition of Entropia will help Accenture Interactive transform and reimagine their clients' entire business through the lens of experience.
"The acquisition will also expand the creative talent pool within Accenture Interactive and create more learning and growth opportunities for people across both organisations," said the statement.
