KUALA LUMPUR: Anne Rajasaikaran, chief executive officer of Edumaax Education Group and principal officer of Budimas Charitable Foundation, is a paradigm of female empowerment.
The mother of three and a philanthropist has seen a fulfilling career bursting at the brim with accomplishments in the local educational arena as well as being a champion for equality.
"I firmly believe every child should have access to a high-quality education," shared Rajasaikaran, who has dedicated her career to championing an equal environment where children from all social classes have a right to a proper education.
"Education changes lives, and no child should be denied the transformative power of a great education," she added.
Building a repertoire for public trust, her long-standing devotion to advocating for the underprivileged youths of Malaysia was seen in full force during her time at Budimas.
Budimas is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation that seeks to provide financial and welfare support to orphans and children from marginalised communities.
One of her missions and undertakings is to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children under the care of the foundation.
For more than 10 years, she managed the organisation's operation and many of its initiatives, bringing the Budimas name to the level of acclaim it is known for today.
Owing to her strive and determination, Rajasaikaran's work in the industry has earned her recognition with the Asian Women Leader award by World Women Leadership Congress Presents Asia's
Woman Leaders and McM Rising Star Awards for Education & CSR Leader of the Year Category in 2022.
Her expertise in her previous roles made her the perfect candidate to lead the next generation of movers and shakers.
She was appointed as the CEO of Imperium International College, heralding a new era in her career where she would be a guiding hand to its students.
Passionate about providing Imperium's students with a world-class education at a fraction of the cost, she has also had a heavy hand in strengthening the college's relationship and partnership with internationally-renowned universities based in the UK and the US.
Apart from her attachment to Imperium, Rajasaikaran's position as Edumaax Education CEO sees her go well beyond just being a corporate figurehead.
She oversees the roster of institutions under the parent company that includes Imperium International College along with St John's International School and Pusat Tuisyen Kasturi.
