MYAirline unveils flash sales with zero base fares

KUALA LUMPUR: MYAirline has unveiled its latest flash sale for three days from April 17, offering a special "Zero Base Fare" promotion to its passengers.

MYAirline chief executive officer Rayner Teo said it was committed to making travel accessible and affordable for everyone, especially during the holiday peak period.

"This flash sale is a testament to our dedication to providing exceptional value to our customers," said Teo. 

According to MYAirline, the special offer allows passengers to enjoy a zero base fare on select one-way domestic routes to and from its hub in KLIA Terminal 2, providing an opportunity to travel at unbeatable prices. 

"During this campaign, passengers can book their flights on the MYAirline website or through the MYAirline mobile app. 

"This means that passengers only need to pay the applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges, making it an exceptional deal for travelers looking to balik kampung during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri period, explore new destinations or plan a long-awaited trip during the travel period of April 20 to May 21, 2023," it said.  

The zero-base fare offers free seats on selected flights, but does not cover taxes and other surcharges cost from RM25 from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu, from Kota Kinabalu to Tawau, and from Penang as well as Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur. 

On the other hand, passengers will only need to pay RM31 from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, Sibu, Kuching and Miri as well as from Tawau to Kuala Lumpur route.
