KUALA LUMPUR: Solarvest Holdings Bhd and i-Ruma Sdn Bhd formed a joint venture to provide digital solutions for homeowners to transition seamlessly to sustainable living.
The joint venture's objective is to design a property management system that caters to clean-energy-enabled properties using big data and other digital solutions.
Solarvest and i-Ruma, in a joint statement, said the software would include digital clean energy solutions such as solar energy generation monitoring systems and online booking of electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities.
This is in addition to its convenient features like online payments, billing management and overnight parking management.
Solarvest chief strategy officer Leon Liew Chee Ing said the company had identified the importance of innovation and collaboration in the effort to accelerate the transition towards sustainable living.
"We aim to provide homeowners with user-friendly and convenient tools that will empower them to make informed decisions and take meaningful steps toward reducing their carbon footprint," he said.
i-Ruma founder Ng Ian Ouii pointed out that the property management system provider is pleased with the collaboration with Solarvest.
He added that the partnership is an indicator of a strategic move for the company for the value proposition to integrate digital clean energy solutions into property management systems seamlessly.
"At i-Ruma, our automated one-stop management solution has enabled us to establish an impressive database of more than 100 stratified properties within two years in the market.
"As we continuously push the boundaries of what can be achieved in the clean energy and property management industries, we have set our sights on expanding our portfolio to over 300 stratified properties by the end of this year," he said.
He mentioned that i-Ruma is dedicated to fostering a close partnership with Solarvest to provide comprehensive clean energy solutions to a wider customer base.
