KUALA LUMPUR: Bumi Armada Bhd today said that the Armada Kraken floating production system (FPSO) has returned to 90 per cent of pre-shutdown operational levels.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd, company said that following successful installation of the reconditioned HSP transformer on the Armada Kraken FPSO, it commenced operating on July 20, 2023, with operational performance at 90 per cent of pre-shutdown levels.
A month ago, the FPSO was operating at 60 per cent after a successful start up following an unscheduled shutdown, due to transformer issues.
Bumi Armada's share price was down 1 per cent at 48.5 sen at midday break.
