KUALA LUMPUR: KNM Group Bhd today said it will proceed to put Manfred Gustav Von Nostitz up for election as a director of the company as long as it can verify and confirm Sazini Abdullah is a member of the company based on the register of depositors (ROD) as at May 30, 2024.
Yesterday, the company said it would not put forward the nomination because Sazini was not listed on the ROD as at May 27, 2024.
In its announcement today however, the company backtracked and stated that it will include the resolution for election subject to confirmation of Sazini as a shareholder of the company as at May 30, 2024.
In an addendum to the notice of annual general meeting to be held on June 6, 2024, KNM Group listed five additional names for election as directors in the company.
The five are Wong Toh Sing, William H Vanvliet III, Wan Kamaruddin Bin Wan Mohamed Ali, Sakthi Kumar Ramadas and Manfred Gustav Von Nostitz.
The resolution to appoint Von Nostitz as a director is subject to the verification and confirmation of Sazini as a member of the company based on the ROD as at May 30, 2024.
