KUALA LUMPUR: Keyfield International Bhd's subsidiary Keyfield Offshore Sdn Bhd has been awarded two contracts by Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia B.V.
These contracts involve providing one accommodation work barge (AWB) and one anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel for Hess' offshore operations totalling RM40 million.
According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the contracts began in July 2024 and June 2024 respectively, with charter periods of five months and six months.
"Keyfield Offshore shall provide one unit of AWB and one unit of AHTS respectively with crew and on-board services to perform the agreed scope of works to meet the charterer's requirements," it said.
Keyfield expects the contracts to have a favourable impact on its earnings and net assets for the year ending Dec 31, 2024.
