KUALA LUMPUR: TCS Group Holdings Bhd's unit TCS Construction Sdn Bhd has secured a RM86.38 million contract from Sime Darby Property Bhd (SD Property) to develop 60 units of double-storey semi-detached factories in Elmina Business Park, Selangor.
The contract will begin in December and run for two years, with expected completion by December 2026.
TCS managing director Datuk Tee Chai Seng said the company appreciates SD Property's confidence in its ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and with a strong commitment on workplace safety.
The new job further support TCS' growth momentum, providing strong earnings visibility for the next two to three years.
"On the industry front, we are seeing positive market conditions with stable material costs and a rise in both public and private sector projects.
"This favourable environment points to sustained growth in the construction industry, and TCS is well-positioned to take advantage of these opportunities," Tee said.
TCS' share price closed unchanged at 16 sen, valuing the company at RM96.10 million.
