KUALA LUMPUR: Destini Bhd's subsidiary, Destini Prima Sdn Bhd (DPSB) has bagged a three-year contract worth RM33.05 million from the Defence Ministry (Mindef).
In a statement, Destini said this new contract has propelled its order book beyond RM800 million, enhancing earnings visibility through 2027 and further solidifying Destini's position as a dependable partner in national defense.
"The contract covers comprehensive maintenance services for airborne safety and survival equipment, which are vital to the operational readiness and safety of Malaysia Air Force.As part of the contract terms, DPSB will provide a performance bond and participate in the Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs – Ready to Work (PROTÉGÉ-RTW) program, a national initiative aimed at workforce readiness," it said.
The contract will run from Nov 11, 2024 until Nov 10, 2027.
Destini executive director Ismail Mustaffa said the contract reaffirms Destini's unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the maintenance and safety of critical Air Force assets.
Ismail said the company is fully dedicated to ensuring quality and reliability in all aspects of its work, supporting the Mindef in its mission to safeguard the nation.
"The awarded contract is anticipated to have a positive impact on Destini's financial performance, contributing to both earnings growth and enhancement of net assets starting from the financial year ending June 30, 2025 and throughout the duration of the contract."
