KUALA LUMPUR: News on stock, crypto and ringgit moves.
Bursa Malaysia closed higher, in line with Wall Street's overnight advancement as investors continued to bet on "buy cryptocurrency and US dollars" following Donald Trump's election victory.
While buying interest remains lacklustre, analysts believe the index's proximity to the oversold region could present opportunities to accumulate on dips.
The ringgit closed stronger against the US dollar at 4.4600.
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin steadied after a rally, trading around RM434,501 as traders assess whether optimism stemming from Trump's support for cryptocurrency is becoming stretched.
Ethereum is trading at RM15,110, while Solana is valued at around RM1,123.
That's it for Market Pulse.
