KUALA LUMPUR: AMMB Holdings Bhd (Ambank Group) says it is ready to provide financing repayment relief to help ease the financial burdens faced of borrowers affected by the ongoing floods.
AmBank group chief executive officer Jamie Ling said it is offering targeted assistance to eligible customers with a moratorium of up to six months for all financing facilities.
"We are helping with the ongoing flood relief actions to provide some assistance to our customers that have been affected by the current flooding situation.
"At AmBank Group, we stand ready to support our customers, employees, and communities through these difficult times," he said in a statement.
Ling noted that the bank's flood relief programme is designed to provide immediate financial relief and assistance, allowing those affected to focus on recovery and rebuilding.
