KUALA LUMPUR: MBSB Bhd has appointed Datuk Seri Nur Julie Gwee Ariff as the new chief executive officer (CEO) of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Bhd effective from Jan 1.
Nur Julie has extensive experience in debt markets and corporate finance.
She joined MIDF Amanah in 2012 as director in corporate advisory and structuring and served as the head of debt markets and deputy chief executive officer immediately prior to the appointment.
Under her leadership, the bank became a leader in advising on sustainable financing initiatives and transactions, earning widespread industry recognition and multiple accolades.
Before joining MIDF Amanah, she held senior roles at other investment banks and had served at other securities firms, where she advised on a wide range of corporate finance matters.
