KUALA LUMPUR: News on the latest moves on the stock and crypto markets.
Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) was among the top gainers today after KWAP accepted Gateway Development Alliance's RM11 share offer to privatise the airport operator.
The stock was up eight sen to RM10.72.
Meanwhile, the 30-stock key index was trending lower as US inflation fears, which brought Wall Street down last night, spilt over to the local market.
The index will likely range between 1,625 to 1,635 points today.
In the crypto market, Bitcoin declined to RM439,243 as strong job market data dampened expectations for more US interest rate cuts.
Ethereum was trending lower at RM15,400, and Solana was down at RM910.
