“I am very humbled to be given the honour of serving as chairman of PIKOM 2019-2020. I am grateful to my fellow members who trust in me to lead the association during such exciting yet challenging times when the tech industry is going through such monumental changes in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

“To kick off my tenure, my priority is to call upon everyone’s support to work together for the association to be recognised as the leading voice of the tech industry. We must continue to work hard and smart in our initiatives and efforts so as to benefit all of our members,” said Lee, who is also chairman of E-Tech IT Sdn Bhd.

Lee stressed that moving forward, providing membership value will remain PIKOM’s paramount importance, as currently, it represents over 1,000 tech players.

PIKOM is involved in many signature events organised by many of the association’s, whilst addressing topical issues directly or indirectly connected to the tech industry, through its advocacy work with the government and policy-makers.

Next year, PIKOM will be hosting many key international events, amongst them WCIT 2020 in Penang, AFACT 2020 and APICTA 2020 in Kuala Lumpur.
