KUALA LUMPUR: Alienware started a new chapter by releasing its first AMD-powered laptops in over a decade. One year later and the momentum shows no signs of slowing, as Alienware compounds its
offerings with the launch of three new machines, powered by AMD Ryzen.
New to the mix is a processor and liquid cooling update to the Alienware Aurora R14 Ryzen Edition, which is the first OEM desktop to market with AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processors (Vermeer X), transforming the most power-hungry games into light work. First unveiled at CES, the anticipated Alienware m15 R7 and Alienware m17 R5 both inherit their long-reserved seats at the table. And for entry-level and casual gamers on a budget, the new Dell G15 – also with AMD Ryzen.
AlLIENWARE AURORA RYZEN EDITION R14
The Ryzen Edition R14 has an optimised airflow and Legend 2.0 to deliver multi-threaded performance in Alienware desktop.
It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor and has AMD 3D V-Cache technology for a better frame rate on triple-A games.
It offers an advanced liquid cooler option with 42 per cent thermal resistance improvement.
ALIENWARE M15 R7
Users can play games with the highest wattage thanks to its 170W thermal design power (TDP) and keep it cool with the Cryo-tech architecture.
The new thermal technology has thinner and wider fan blades than other versions and has 1.3x more airflow.
It also has an improved audio and visual with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos included.
ALIENWARE M17 R5
The laptop features the AMD Ryzen processors and is paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series graphics for better gaming performance.
With the 17-inch display and up to UHD resolutions, gamers can have an immersive video games experience as well as visual and audio with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
DELL G15 (5525)
Ideal for casual gamers, this laptop features great graphics and a robust design to boot.
It features Alienware-inspired thermal engineering and provides optimal cooling with a dial air-intake.
Besides that, it also has ultra-thin blades, copper wire, and four vents for longer and quieter gaming sessions.
The G15 is available in Dark Shadow Grey, Spectro Green, and Phantom Grey colourway (availability for Malaysia to be announced).
