#TECH: Datakraf Solution strengthens offering with AT&T Cybersecurity partnership

KUALA LUMPUR: AT&T Cybersecurity, a division of American multinational telecommunications, AT&T Inc, is empowering Datakraf Solution Sdn Bhd's managed security offering with AT&T's AlienVault's Unified Security management (USM).

AT&T Cybersecurity is one of the largest managed security services providers (MSSP) in the world. The company offers cybersecurity solutions such as OpenXDR, managed detection and response, and EDR with SentinelOne; backed by unrivalled visibility via the AT&T IP backbone, global USM sensor network, and the Open Threat Exchange (OTX). AT&T Alien Labs can deliver continuous, tactical threat intelligence to the USM platform to keep client's defence up to date.

According to AT&T Cybersecurity, cyber security is top-of-mind for any business today, large or small, and helps protect customers' IT infrastructure against today's emerging threats, which is more critical than ever.

It said the cyber threat landscape is complex, requiring a coordinated and collaborative defence system. The current trend of IoT, big data, cloud solutions, and distributed workforce requires the next level of threat intelligence, response orchestration and automation via a unified security management.

Datakraf Solution, a Malaysian tech company, currently serves notable client portfolios such as Petronas, Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN) and National Cybersecurity Agency (NACSA), and this portfolio is expected to carry AT&T's Cybersecurity confidence to the intended target prospects in this region.

"We believe AT&T Cybersecurity's collaboration with DatakrafSolution here in Malaysia will be able to deliver the ability to help safeguard digital assets, act with confidence to detect cyber threats, to mitigate any potential business impact and drive efficiency into cybersecurity operations," said Datakraf's chairman, Tunku Naquiyuddin Tuanku Ja'afar, in an official appointment ceremony, which was attended by Datakraf's founder and CEO, Mohd Al-Iman Zakaria, AT&T's director of sales, APAC MSSP and Channel, Sean Ferguson, AT&T Cybersecurity (AlienVault) APJ business manager, Tim Windever.
