KUALA LUMPUR: HP has today launched their new Omen 16 laptop, Victus 16 Laptop, and added new updates to Omen Gaming Hub for an enhanced gaming experience.
HP Malaysia's managing director, Alex Tan said since the gaming industry becomes a more vibrant and inclusive ecosystem, this serves as a strong inspiration for HP to listen, adapt, and collaborate to provide the best technology available for the gaming industry.

The new Omen ecosystem includes:
Revamped Thermals: Has an added fifth heat pipe and fourth outflow vent that contributed to a -3 per cent GPU hinge and -14 per cent bottom SSD temperature as well as is five per cent quieter too
Processors in Harmony: With a built-in IR thermopile sensor, OMEN dynamic Power can detect real-time CPU and GPU capacity and allocate power between the two to create extra headroom and optimises in-game FPS.
Performance: It also has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU and MAX Q technologies or AMD Ryzen RX 6650M. There's also the Intel Core i7-12700H series processor or AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX Mobile processor with up to 32GB DDR5 4800 MHz and get speedy access to files with up to 2TB PCle Gen 4x4 SSD.
Visuals: Aside from having the QHD10 165Hz IPS panel, there is a TUV Rheinland and auto brightness to keep eyes fresh. There is also RGB lighting with OMEN Gaming Hub Light Studio integration on the keyboard.
DESIGN
As the younger sibling to the Omen brand, the Victus 16 comes in Mica Silver and Performance Blue with a backlit keyboard.
The 16-inch display features up to FHD 144 Hz and is packed with Eyesafe low-blue light.
It is powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU 6GB and AMD Radeon RX 680M with options by Intel Core i7-12700H series processors or 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 6800H Mobile Processors up to 32 GB DDR-5-4800MHz memory.
Moreover, it has wide rear vents, five-way airflow and a four-heat pipe design for enhanced thermal efficiency and a single SSD up to Gen4 1TB PCle storage or Dual SSD supporting RAID 015 storage options as well as optional Intel Optane memory.
NEW FEATURES
Both the Omen 16 and Victus 16 laptops have a preinstalled Omen Gaming Hub and are packed with features like Performance Mode, Network Booster, and System Vitals.
The Optimiser feature also enables users to free up system resources and tweak low-level OS settings to maximise FPS.
There are also features like Gallery, Rewards, Oasis Live, and Omen Light Studio.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Omen 16 is priced at RM7,599 for the AMD Ryzen 9 processor variant and the price for Intel version is RM7,799.
For the Victus 16, the AMD Ryzen 7 variant is at a starting price of RM4,299 while the Intel version is at a starting price of RM3,749.
