KUALA LUMPUR: Realme has launched the C55 smartphone with upgraded camera and storage memory.
The C55 is the first to receive major updates in the C series, including a 64MP camera, a large 256GB storage, a fast 33W charging, and a 'Sunshower' design.
CAMERA
The C55 camera offers better resolution and improves highlight suppression capabilities, with the help of ProLight imaging technology, which helps keep more details in low-light circumstances.
Besides that, the feature also improves sharpness of night shots by brightening photos while preserving small details.
STORAGE
The realme C55 has up to 16GB of dynamic RAM and 256GB of ROM, the most storage in the segment, and enables up to 1TB of memory extension for a long-lasting user experience.
The RAM is also increased by 8GB to provide 16GB-like experience with the advancement of DRE technology, providing users with a seamless and much smoother experience.
The phone is powered by a Helio G88 Chipset with an octa-core operating at 2.0GHz and an Antutu benchmark score of 273,364.
FAST CHARGING
The phone comes with an enhanced battery performance with a quick 33W SUPERVOOC charging capability, giving it a 100 per cent charge in just 63 minutes.
In comparison to its predecessor, the C35, which had an 18W charging capability, the C55 features a 5000mAh battery.
SUNSHOWER DESIGN
One unique feature of the C55 is its Sunshower design, which is influenced by natural elements. It is available in two colours - Sunshower and Rainy Night.
The phone also features a right-angle bezel and a thin 7.89mm body, for a pleasant grip and in-hand feel.
A 6.72-inch full-screen display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz provide a more enjoyable visual experience.

"We are not just only focusing on the camera, but we also come with other features to fulfill the users' benefit," he added.
The C55 is priced at RM699 for 6GB + 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, and RM799 for 8GB + 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
