The Dyson Corrale hair straightener launched in Malaysia last Friday, four months after it was unveiled by James Dyson himself, taking your home hair straightening routine to a whole new level.
Reviews have been mixed, thanks to its hefty price tag of RM2,199, but Dyson promises hair straightening capabilities that doesn't use a lot of heat that results in a lot of hair damage.
The company uses a flexing plate technology that delivers style without the typical reliance on heat.
According to the company, the new beauty tool has a "microhinged plate technology, with flex to shape and gather hair, applying even heat and tension to each strand so they are aligned, without turning up the heat."
To top that off, it has a heat control mechanism, together with a 4-cell lithium-ion battery technology to deliver cord-free performance.
There's always a lot of engineering mumbo-jumbo with any Dyson product because each one is created from an engineering perspective, for the ease of the end consumer. The best thing is for you to try it yourself at its demo stores nationwide and decide if the performance is worth the price tag.
