And with Malaysia Day coming up tomorrow, these fashion and food entrepreneurs are disrupting the Biscoff Latte trend for a month-long coffee drink called Kopi Tarik Kita that's debuting tomorrow at Burrow KL.
Inspired by happy childhood memories, the drink is a modern, indulgent twist on the traditional Malaysian coffee, made with premium quality house blend beans, and topped with thick froth, coffee crumbs and dried sugared bread that children enjoyed decades ago.
Nurul says the aim of this collaboration is to relive the excitement that we get while sipping a good cup of coffee that makes us feel closer to home.
"We have also designed our very own coffee sleeves, which will complement the deliciously made cup of Kopi Tarik. Scan the barcode on the cup sleeves and it will lead you to the Mimpikita website for further details on the collaboration," she says.
"We hope that with a good cup of our Kopi Tarik, we will be able to "tarik" you and your loved ones closer and find our very own feeling of home," she says.
The drink is available hot or iced, beginning 8am tomorrow for a month, or until stocks last.
