JDT drop points for first time this season

KUALA LUMPUR: Reigning champions Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) dropped their first points of the Super League season when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Police at the Selayang Stadium on Wednesday.

Police took the lead in the 22nd minute through Shahrel Fikri Fauzi. However, JDT equalised through Oscar Arribas in the 33rd minute.

Despite the draw, JDT remain top of the standings with 19 points from six wins and one draw.

Selangor, who were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Sri Pahang in Kuantan, are second with 13 points.

In Cheras, KL City thrashed Sabah 3-0. The City Boys are third with 11 points, ahead of Terengganu on goal difference.

Terengganu edged Negri Sembilan 3-2 on Tuesday.
