KUALA LUMPUR: Is actress, entrepreneur and television host Neelofa Mohd Noor calling it a day with popular Astro Ria talk show Meletop which she has co-hosted for the last five years?
Judging by her recent Instagram post, Kelantan-born Neelofa has sounded a little sentimental, talking about fond memories while helming Meletop alongside co-host Nabil Ahmad.
In her post, she thanked the Meletop crew for helping her all the way, and fans for their continuous support which helped her win Most Popular Artiste in Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 2015 as well as Anugerah Top Top Meletop 2017.
Neelofa also thanked Meletop viewers and live audience, particularly those from outside of the Klang Valley, for following the talk show diligently and giving her positive feedback and suggestions on how to improve it.
"This was my stop every Tuesday for the past five years, where I have met people from all walks of life, from celebrities to politicians to sportsmen, where they have shared their experiences and views with the audience and most importantly, where all my fans, from near and far, have come to see me in person.
"Five years with the show, I basically grew up here, with the fantastic team and my forever crazy co-host Nabil Ahmad.
"I have learnt so many things and feel very lucky and blessed to be able to host one of the highest rated and longest running weekly shows in the industry.
"Meletop will always have a special spot in my heart because it will always feel like home."
Her post received 20 comments, most of which urged her to keep up her good work and stay with Meletop.
"I'm so impressed with your achievements, you'll always be my idol," said a fan identified as Fatynn Ismail.
