KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actress and entrepreneur Neelofa recently shared that she doesn't feel qualified to offer household tips, as she is still in the early years of her marriage to husband Haris Ismail.
Neelofa, whose full name is Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, 35, said managing a household becomes easier when religious principles are followed.
She explained that marriage has taught her many valuable lessons.
"Every marriage has its ups and downs.
"People might see my husband and me as happy, but every household faces challenges, expectations, and individual shortcomings," she told Harian Metro.
She humbly added: "Since my marriage is still new, I don't feel qualified to give tips or lengthy advice."
"But as long as both husband and wife follow religious teachings and remain true to Allah, everything will, God willing, be easier."
Neelofa also advised young couples to prepare for marriage by seeking knowledge about it beforehand.
"I've learned a lot after getting married, and I think if I had known this before, things would have been easier at the start.
"So, I encourage young couples to study marriage before taking the step."
Neelofa and Haris tied the knot on March 26, 2021, and have two sons, Muhammad Bilal, 3, and Abdullah Abbas, 1.
