KUALA LUMPUR: Shaheizy Sam recently had a dramatic body transformation, and his fans just can’t handle it.
The 35-year-old award-winning star is gearing up for his reprised role in the highly-anticipated action flick Polis Evo 2.
On Tuesday, he shared on hisbInstagram an image of himself shirtless and flashing his six-pack abs as he worked out at the gym. He included a cheeky caption too. “Is it hot in here or is it just me?! Owh, I love my job!!! #InspektorKhai #PolisEvo2”
The photo was met with tonnes of praises from his Instagram followers who congratulated him for putting his heart and soul into obtaining such a well-sculpted physique for his portrayal in the film.

@ipey_hani, on the other hand, likened Sam to Hollywood actor Zac Efron who had buffed up for his role in the 2017 Baywatch movie reboot.
However, some followers weren’t too enthusiastic. Instead of showering him with compliments, they advised him to cover his aurat (areas of modesty that must be covered for Muslims).
Meanwhile, Polis Evo 2 will be directed by Joel Soh and also stars Erra Fazira and Indonesian actress-singer Raline Shah.
The blockbuster prequel, helmed by Ghaz Abu Bakar, raked in RM17.47 million in box office sales when it was screened in 2015.
Sam is also set to star in the upcoming romance drama Pinjamkan Hatiku alongside Ayda Jebat and Farid Kamil, out in cinemas on Nov 30.
