(Showbiz) Singer Yuna shares tips on ways to impress your potential employer

KUALA LUMPUR: Besides busy making music in the United States, singer Yunalis Mat Zara'ai is also juggling a few of her business ventures which are based here.

When her new shop Tiny Forest Subang Jaya, which specialises in terrariums (sealable glass containers containing soil and plants), was recently looking for employees, she received many emails from job seekers.

What disappointed her most was that some of the emails received were nothing more than empty emails with cookie-cutter CVs attached.

Yuna then posted on her Instagram some tips for future job seekers.

She wrote: "Do not send empty emails, meaning sending only your CV file without any proper greeting."

“Add some personality!... write a nice email with own header... ," shared Yuna who admitted that she loves reading interesting mail.

Yuna also reminded job applicants not to be lazy, as "there is no place for lazy people in this world."

She ended her posting by saying that she'd shortlisted four candidates whose application letters stood out from the rest and they seemed like a bunch of people she would love to work with.
