KUALA LUMPUR: Although Datuk Sheila Majid recently postponed her Jakarta concert, fans can catch the elegant singer in Singapore instead on March 3.
After her 30th anniversary concert, dubbed “Sheila Majid: My Inspiration, My Love, My Legacy”, in the Lion City back in 2016, Malaysia’s Queen of Pop-Jazz will return for another enchanting performance, held in conjunction with her World Tour Concert 2018 series of shows.
Organised by Magada Entertainment and IME Productions, the concert, titled “Sheila Majid: The Concert Singapore 2018”, will present a stellar song list ranging from her classics to tunes from her new album, “Boneka”, which was released last year.
Inspired by the quote, “May music keep us together,” fans can expect a memorable experience during the concert which is set to be held at The Star Theatre in The Star Performing Centre at 8pm.
Sheila kicked off her singing career in 1985 and has since released eight highly successful albums, with hit tunes such as ‘Sinaran’, ‘Warna’ and ‘Legenda’ that transcended age and racial boundaries.
A legend in the local music industry, displaying uncanny charisma and longevity, she has also staged over 40 concerts and showcases around the world.
Her 2017 world tour kicked off with a sold -out concert in Kuala Lumpur held at Stadium Negara.
