KUALA LUMPUR: South Korean entertainment industry insiders reported today that RM, leader of the K-Pop group BTS, had gone for a surgery for septum deviation.
It is a condition that occurs when the septum — the bone and cartilage that divide the nasal cavity of the nose — is displaced to one side.
In severe cases, it reduces airflow, causing difficulty in breathing through the nose.
According to a news report by Soompi, BTS’ agency Big Hit Entertainment later confirmed the news, stating, “The surgery went well, and he's been released from the hospital.
“He'll probably take a break for a while (to recover).”
Get well soon, RM!
