KUALA LUMPUR: Popular comedian and actor Zizan Razak is grateful that he is getting several offers from Indonesian production houses after filming his first film in the republic.
The 33-year-old has just finished filming his first project, playing a leading role in a romantic comedy yet-to-be-named film, produced by actor and TV host Raffi Ahmad.
“One day, I received a message from Raffi on my Instagram, asking for a meet up.
“I was pleasantly surprised that he even knew of me. It was flattering. The meeting was in Indonesia and next thing I knew, I got a shot at playing the leading role in this film, alongside Indonesian stars such as Cut Meyriska and Marsha Aruan (the little girl Olivia from the popular TV sinetron Bawang Merah Bawang Putih),” he added.
“Alhamdulillah, Raffi has also offered me another job after this one, and I have also been approached by other producers," said the winner of Artis Lawak MeleTOP at the recent AME 2018.
