KUALA LUMPUR: Producer and director Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina does not merely make films and musicals which appeal to Malaysians of all ages.
The founder of the Enfiniti Academy of Performing Arts, will soon unveil an enchanting new project that has nothing to do with the arts, but is all about the great outdoors.
Next month, Tiara’s very own nature resort in Janda Baik, Pahang, opens its gates to the public. She describes the getaway, Tiarasa Escapes, as a “glamping” (glamour camping) resort only 45 minutes away from the city centre.
Tiara revealed wee bits of her resort in a series of Instagram posts since April 2.
In the first of her five posts, she said: “My next new story is set in an enchanted forest where red dragonflies and faeries dance under the faraway tree. Here is where I escape to dream by the river, find inspiration in the beauty of nature, gaze in wonder at the stars and snuggle up with my loved ones in a blanket of mountain mist. Here at Tiarasa Escapes where time stands still and magic happens.”
In all of the posts, Tiara is dressed ranger-style in a white shirt and slacks with the occasional ranger hat. They showed her posing amidst tall trees, a cooling stream and a sturdy cabin made from recycled wood.
“I love the texture and contrast of the recycled wood we used to build the swimming pool pump house and towel station. Have a lovely Sunday,” she said in her third post two days ago.
“Escape to nature, stay in comfort, and leave with unforgettable memories.”
Tiara also revealed that Tiara Escapes, 57 kilometres away from Petaling Jaya, offers corporations, families and youths safari tents for business meetings and conferences, set in an “enchanted forest, surrounded by treehouses, mountain mist, red dragonflies, and a babbling creek”.
“It’ll be fully opened in mid-May,” she said.
